Bowas-Induplan Chemie Ges.m.b.H.’s fields of activities include the complete range of products, according to the principle "everything from one single source" for plants of the explosives industry. In addition to the planning and construction of complete new plants - turnkey plants - for the explosive industry Bowas-Induplan Chemie Ges.m.b.H. also modernises existing plants with a focus on safety, saving of raw materials, cost-effectiveness in energy and personnel requirements, as well as the compliance with strict environmental protection requirements.

 

Dott. Mariano Pravisani & C. Srl's provides specially developed technology for the production of the following substances: emulsion explosives, explosives (HMX, RDX and PETN), nitro-glycerine, propellants, demilitarization systems, detonating cord, black powder. The company's goal is to provide the safest and most reliable hazardous chemical synthesis facilities that operate with minimal manpower and maintain continuity of production and quality over long periods of time. The distribution of the DMP - Dott. Mariano Pravisani & C. Srl is taken over by BOWAS-TEC Ges.m.b.H.

 

Bohlen Handel GmbH in Essen is responsible for the planning and distribution of pump vehicles for over- and underground operation. In addition, the company plans and builds plants that produce explosive emulsions for the mining and raw materials industries.  

 

Bohlen Industrie GmbH is the financial holding for the entire chemical / plant / machine branch of the bohlen group.

 

Bowas Global (India) Pvt. Ltd. Delhi, India is specialized in setting up facilities that produce raw materials for the explosives industry, as well as chemical plants that produce propellant powders for the military. The company also provides maintenance contracts with Indian manufacturers of military explosives.

 

WASAG In the mid-1950s, the brothers Berthold and Harald von Bohlen und Halbach took over four-fifths of the shares in WASAG Chemie AG (Westfälisch-Anhaltische Sprengstoff-Aktien-Gesellschaft). Together they made the company one of the leading suppliers of explosives in Germany through targeted acquisitions. After the merger of WASAG Chemie AG with the H & R Group the new company H & R WASAG was formed. Today this company is called the H&R Group and the rights to the "WASAG" brand belong to Bohlen Industrie GmbH.
